Pain Management

We understand that pain can delay and interrupt the progress of rehabilitation. We strive to make our patients as comfortable as possible, through medication and other pain management techniques, to help patients participate in and benefit from therapy. We also provide our patients with educational information and resources they will need to successfully manage temporary, long-term, or chronic pain once they return home.

Orthopedic / Joint Replacement Program

Following a joint replacement, our rehabilitation team will develop a plan to begin restoring each patient’s range of motion and mobility. Our goal is to improve patient confidence, reduce and manage pain, and get our patients back to successful daily life.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation patients who have experienced a cardiac event requires a delicate balance of medication, diet, and lifestyle adjustments. Rancho Bellagio Post-Acute care can help manage each patients’ unique condition and its side effects while working with them to begin restoring their heart to healthy functioning.

Post-Stroke Rehabilitation

Rancho Bellagio Post-Acute focuses on regaining and refining skills, movement coordination, and speech loss due to stroke. We can help patients relearn how to perform daily tasks, compensate for permanent losses incurred from brain injury, and regain confidence.

Physical Therapy

Our care philosophy is to work closely with each patient to help them determine their goals and develop a unique plan to achieve the highest functional level of independence possible. Physical therapy will be focused exclusively on achieving optimal outcomes.

Occupational Therapy

Our professional occupational therapists use task-directed activities in the treatment of our patients whose functional abilities, daily activities, and independence have been impaired by illness, injury, or aging.

Occupational therapy assists our patients in adapting to their social and physical environment by mastering tasks essential for daily living. Our occupational therapists may work with those who have debilitating arthritic conditions or those with difficulty bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living. They assist patients with impaired vision and/or hearing to function well in their environment.

Speech Therapy

Our speech therapists provide a range of interventions to assess and help restore abilities in the areas of communication, swallowing, and cognition. Treatment programs are designed to help patients affected by stroke, brain injury, dementia, and other neurological disorders. Our professionals also work with patients suffering from hearing impairment, respiratory illnesses, and complex medical conditions.
