Our dedicated wound care team treats wounds gently and respectfully in collaboration with a wound care physician who will monitor each site for signs of infection.

Our respite program provides the security and supervision each resident requires in a caring and compassionate environment, giving the caregiver peace of mind.
Activities
PTo aid in the healing process, patients will be offered daily opportunities to participate in activities. Our activities are based on patient interests to encourage participation and engagement.

Rehabilitation
Be Empowered With Individualized Rehabilitation
Our staff of trained professionals is ready to assist each patient as they regain their independence through individualized rehabilitation programs offered 7 days a week. Rancho Bellagio Post Acute therapists work to address every aspect of rehabilitation. From walking strong to speaking clearly, our teams can help patients rebuild strength, skills, and confidence.
Physical Therapy
Therapeutic treatments:
• Full-time, one-on-one physical therapy
• Training in mobility, gait stability, ambulation, posture, and positioning
• Custom exercise programs to re-educate muscles, increase muscle function and improve coordination
• Specialty programming and technology to promote balance and fall prevention
• Joint and soft tissue mobilization to increase range of motion and manage contractures
Occupational Therapy
Physical environments:
• Education and training in dressing, bathing, eating and grooming
• Activities for memory, orientation, and cognitive integration
• Adaptive techniques and equipment to overcome physical disabilities
• Strengthening and coordination exercises
• Exercises to reduce the effects of arthritis or other conditions to maintain normal joint movement
• Therapeutic environment for activities of daily living re-training with full kitchen, bathroom, and bed
Speech Therapy
Communication and swallowing:
• Exercises designed to recover speech, language and memory skills
• Programs to strengthen verbal and non-verbal communication, including hearing impaired
• Functionally appropriate diets
• Focus on oral muscle strength and functions required for speaking and swallowing
Orthopedic Therapy
Following a joint replacement, our rehabilitation team will develop a plan to begin restoring each patient’s range of motion and mobility. Our goal is to improve patient confidence, reduce and manage pain, and get our patients back to successful daily life.
Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation patients who have experienced a cardiac event requires a delicate balance of medication, diet, and lifestyle adjustments. Rancho Bellagio Post-Acute care can help manage each patients’ unique condition and its side effects while working with them to begin restoring their heart to healthy functioning.
Post-Stroke Rehabilitation
Rancho Bellagio Post-Acute focuses on regaining and refining skills, movement coordination, and speech loss due to stroke. We can help patients relearn how to perform daily tasks, compensate for permanent losses incurred from brain injury, and regain confidence.
